But you have a lot more options with the straight cut receiver than with the slant cut. I do not feel my rifle is inferior to any other MAK. Also on the AK forum there are people who have welded on angles to make their receiver straight so they could mount a Yugo folder. At the time when I was trying to find a standard stock only IWD had one but since then other companies have come out with them. Unless you want to put on a folding or other after market stock do they really make a difference? Yep, this is a Norinco with the straight stamped receiver. Getting a Chinese version intact will be near impossible, so I am leaning towards Bulgarian FSB's and GB's. Does anybody have any leads on those two items? I'm a member of all the other big AK forums, but I am getting no hits back on those two parts. To mount this and my cleaning rod, I need to swap out my FSB and GB. Not one of the older Chinese folding ones, but the more modern ones of the wire cutter variety when coupled to the sheath.
